“Children do what their parents do,
not what their parents tell them to do.”
It is commonly known that children act according to their parents by mimicing their behavior. What they say, what they do and how they do it can have a greater impact than some might think.
Children look up to their parents, want to be like them, they’re their role model, and the easiest way to do that is through mimics.
Deep down, this is a beautiful thing, the philosophy of wanting to become like their hero.
So I throught, why not use this phenomenon in order to create a closer connection between parents and their children?
The result was UNME, which is based on the design brief of designing an object related to a specific tribe that enhances the experience of having coffee.
