_Åsyn means "sight" in Swedish_

Åsyn is the result of the course Furniture Design 2 from my studies at Jönköping University. It is based on the theme Discrimination, Equality and Needs. Åsyn reflects on the condition visual impairment. Involved the entire process from idea to building stage, surface treatment and exhibition design.

​

The sofa is built out of solid walnut and light beige webbing and does not have any visable joineries.

Group project with three other students.

Exhibited during Stockholm furniture fair 2019.
